Eric Clapton’s one-off model will rub shoulders with the best of the Prancing Horse both past and present.
Just like last year, Ferrari will be using the Goodwood Festival of Speed to showcase some of its models, including the F12 Berlinetta, Ferrari’s most powerful road-going model with 731 hp on tap; a bespoke Grigio FF-colored Ferrari FF fitted with the new panoramic glass roof itdebuted at the 2012 Paris Motor Show; and a couple of “Special Projects” division models. Scuderia Ferrari will also be representing at Lord March’s estate, demonstrating the 2010 F1 car that Fernando Alonso recorded a quartet of victories in including the Italian Grand Prix at Monza. Other coveted Prancing Horses on display include seven Ferrari 250s from 1953-1965, a Ferrari 166 MM Barchetta, 375 “Grant Piston Ring Special,” a trio of 312s, a 512S, 365 GTB4 Daytona, a F40 and F430.
