A BMW 228i prototype was involved in a crash on the Autobahn and went straight into the guardrail.
The German Autobahn is a place for serious and experienced drivers to go fast while fully enjoying their cars. We highly recommend it. Automakers, not surprisingly, also use the famous highway as a testing ground for upcoming models. BMW was recently testing a 228i prototype on a section of the highway close to Leipzig when the engineer/driver lost control at a high rate of speed. Both lanes were forced to close, but thankfully the driver was ok. Thanks “dzodzoherero” for the tip.
