Let’s face it: BMW’s famous M division is not what it once was, but is that necessarily a bad thing? Purists consider its heyday to be back in the Seventies when it unveiled the M1 up until the time it launched the original E30 M3. Over the last decade or so, BMW’s performance arm has gone somewhat mainstream by developing its cars to be luxury rides as well.
